Cody Ponder BandStage plot & input list

The band arrives self-contained: all backline, microphones, stands and in-ear monitoring, mixed by the band on its own console.

Labelled setup diagram. Main view: Sammy's guitar amplifier with its DI box and vocal mic at stage right, the band's X32 and in-ear rack with its tablet, an acoustic guitar, Paul's drum kit on a riser, Rex's bass, and Preston, Cody and Rex downstage with pedalboards and vocal mics. Below: stage left, stage right, rear and overhead views, each player's inputs, and the band-supplied equipment list.

Who supplies what

Front of house supplies

  • Stage power — four positions, marked 110V
  • Four inputs at the house console, for the feeds below

That's the whole ask. The band arrives with a tablet or laptop for the house engineer so mixing can be coordinated with the band directly.

Band supplies

  • Four mixed feeds to front of house — left, right, centre and sub
  • All instruments and backline
  • All microphones, stands and stage accessories
  • X32 rack for mixing and effects
  • In-ear monitoring throughout — no wedges needed
  • Its own monitor mixing, run from a tablet at the rack

The band mixes its own in-ears from a tablet over its own wireless router, so nobody has to be stationed at the rack.

Note

These fourteen sources run into the band's own X32, not into the house console. Front of house receives four mixed channels from it — left, right, centre and sub. The list is here so house engineers know what is on the deck and what it needs.
